1940’s Hand-Painted Folk Art Map of Chester, Nova Scotia
A most interesting fountain pen and watercolour depiction of the town of Chester, Nova Scotia. It is a wonderful, folky interpretation of the town, depicting all of the major hot spots, as well as the homestead of "Mrs. Piers". The reverse of the framed map carries an inscription from the artist stating that the piece was a gift to Mrs. Piers. A very neat item.
