An original 1942 dated shipping crate for $100 in cents labeled to an Agent for the Bank of Canada in Halifax, Nova Scotia. There are wax seals on the corners that were intended to break when the crate was opened to ensure there was no tampering with the contents. It's interesting to note this crate was used at the height of WWII, when an enormous amount of currency would've been distributed through Halifax.
