Rare large studio photograph by James Enos Sponagle of West Dublin, Nova Scotia, and Truro, Nova Scotia. This large 11.5" x 14.5" photo is reverse-mounted on glass and in its original period frame, circa 1900. The photo was taken by Sponagle when he was located in West Dublin, and the frame's backing carries a label from his Truro studio. Total framed size is 17.5" x 20.5". Note that there are some areas around the edge of the photo where the photo has pulled off the glass. The gold gilt plaster frame does exhibit some chips and wear.
