This was one of the first 500 Victor Credenzas to be sold in the country of Canada. Bought new in 1925 by C.E. Pass, the wealthy manager of the Carleton Hotel here in Halifax, it had been passed down through the family until present day.

This 2-door model, produced only in 1925 and early ’26, features a solid walnut cabinet and gold-plated interior hardware. It boasted a large folded 72” exponential horn that was the biggest Victor had produced at the time. In Canada, this model retailed for $385 in 1925, when the average annual salary was less than $1,000.
