A fine quality Tiffany & Co. sterling silver tray/shallow bowl in the Rococo Revival manner with ornate cast border in the form of a floral garland terminating in pierced handles exhibiting C-scroll and seashell motifs. Alhough not particularly large, with overall dimensions of 7.5" x 11.75", this work is of thick gauge silver and weighs 13 troy ounces. The maker's stamp on the back puts the date of manufacture firmly within the time when Charles L. Tiffany was director of the company. Condition is excellent with no monogram or presentation engraving.
