Danish Seagull Dinner Service

Considered one of the finest porcelain dinner services ever produced, the Royal Copenhagen seagull pattern was designed by Fanny Garde in 1892 and became so popular that it continued being made for nearly 120 years. It earned the nickname "The National Service of Denmark." The maritime themed porcelain features flying seagulls against a pale, blue-shaded sky with a raised fish scale design.
This set comprises 40 pieces in total: eight 10" dinner plates, eight 7.5" salad/dessert plates, eight 6" bread and butter plates, eight teacups, and eight saucers. Condition is pristine.
