Seldom-seen 6" x 8" hand-tinted full-body portrait of a well-dressed lady, matted and mounted in its original frame with rare stamp for "N.D. Hammett/Picture Frame & Photograph Rooms." Circa 1880. Nathan Dyer Hammett was a Nova Scotia photographer based in the Liverpool area. This ferrotype photo is 6" x 8" and the grain-painted and decorated picture frame is 12" x 14".
