A good Prince Edward Island redware pottery jug, unmarked but carrying identical, distinct incised line decoration as that found on a marked jug in the PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation collection. 

This jug has the typical glaze flaking found on PEI wares but is in otherwise remarkably good condition with no hairlines, chips or repairs. There is a number 35 written on the underside that may be an original 35-cent price. 

There is a bit of an interesting backstory to this jug -- it was acquired from a woman who did some of the buying for the set of the Anne of Green Gables television series Emily of New Moon, filmed on PEI in the late 90s and early 2000s. She picked up this jug while scouring the island for props for the series.
