An especially rare PEI pottery sugar crock. This crock has considerable wear and scuffing as well as some small chips, but it is a truly scarce survivor. It was found in Yarmouth, but we are confident in a PEI attribution factoring in the white clay lettering combined with the distinct orange tone of the fired pot, a result of the iron oxide rich PEI soil. The lid is ill-fitting and not original.
