A magnificent and large original circa 1900-1910 silver gelatin photograph depicting a regimental shooting team. The rifles appear to be the long Lee Enfield, as used in the Boer War. The soldiers are each wearing an unusual style of ammunition bandolier I have not seen before -- they feature individual cartridge loops and have no flaps. The sergeant at the center of the image is holding a presentation trophy. Someone with a greater knowledge may be able to identify if these soldiers are Canadian or British. The photo is 17" x 22" and the overall framed size is 22.5" x 27.5". Excellent condition.
