Superb original colour and small size to this 19th century British military officer's campaign chest. Comprised of 2 stacking sections with inset brass handles. We've handled a number of campaign chests over the years but this is the first we've had that features two hidden compartments beneath the top. To access them, you pull out the top drawers and look in and up, and there are two small sliding drawers for storing valuables. This chest is a wonderful small size at only 36" wide x 17.5" deep and 40" in height. Shows expected scuffing and wear from use, but overall very good condition.
