A large 12" tall 3-mold seam amber glass apothecary bottle with label for vanilla extract, supplied by J.E. Gass of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Vanilla was often sold in large quantities such as this for use as flavoring for various tonics. This bottle is circa 1890s and in excellent condition.
