Hard-to-find half gallon size Canadian treenware measure lathe-turned from a single piece of wood and with applied handle. You can find these in the pint size, but rarely in these larger sizes, particularly without chips and cracks. To make this would've required a single piece of wood about the diameter of a telephone pole. Manufactured by A. Root of Ontario.
