Circa 1825 Georgian era husband and wife portrait silhouettes including painted gold and silver highlights in original frames. The silhouettes depict John Cruso and Catherine Daintry of Leek, Staffordshire, England, married in 1786. Several children of John and Catherine emigrated to Cobourg, Ontario in the mid-1800's, which is how these silhouettes made their way to Canada. Price is for the pair.
