Museum quality circa 1840 Windsor armchair by George Gammon of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia. More recent brown overpaint over an earlier brown, but showing good wear in all the right places. Very difficult to find period Nova Scotia armchairs retaining full leg height as they often got worn down from years of sliding back and forth. Branded on underside.
