A fine quality pair of mid-19th century silverplate candlesticks in the Rococo manner by quality silverplate firm Elkington & Company. Elkington set the standard for high-caliber silverplate, with this candlestick pair featuring detailed grape and vine motif and original separately-cast removable bobeches. Date letter within the hallmarks denotes manufacture in 1850.
