Rare circa 1947 Canadian General Electric of Toronto Electrolite swivel radio stand with original radio. The stand features a separate metal mount to attach to the underside of the tube radio so it can be fitted either on top of the stand or within the crook of the swivel support. This stand was designed to accommodate an optional smoker's ashtray. The radio is a Laurentide SD75 and this was the model originally issued with this stand. The radio has some minor scuffs and paint losses but does power up and hum when turned on. The only other example we could find is viewable at radiomuseum.org.
