A particularly good early 1900's 13" tall German Belsnickel figure with mohair robe and hat, clutching a feather tree and carrying a leather pouch. These were originally designed as candy containers and are difficult to find in this condition as they are somewhat delicate. The face and hands are a composition material and the mica-coated base, black-painted boots and body are papier mache/cardboard. Very good overall condition.
