A delightful and well-executed little watercolour titled "Near Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island" that incluces the well-known poem "Trees" by American poet Joyce Kilmer. I do not know who painted this charming piece but the initials "JWT" are visible the base of one of the birch trees. I'd estimate this work to have been done sometime between 1920 and 1940. Total framed size is 9.25" x 9.75".
