A great early 1900s hand-signed photograph of British comedian Alice Lloyd dressed as a mechanic standing next to a car with the wheel off, with her hand-penned inscription "Where the hell did I put that nut?".

This image carries the photographer's mark of for Luckhaus of Denver, suggesting this image was likely taken circa 1915 while Lloyd was visiting Colorado during her American vaudeville tour. The photo size is 7.25"  9.25" and the overall framed size with original oak frame is 12" x 14".
