1950’s Danish Teak Sofa
Ultra-modern 1950's Danish loveseat designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard for France & Son. Beautifully-constructed teak frame with unique design features which allow one or both arms, as well as the back, to be removed to convert to a daybed. Compact, low design. Displays very well even from the backside, so this would be ideal in the center of a room. An identical sofa is currently retailing in a mid-century design store in Vancouver for $2,500.
