Circa 1900 west coast Canadian Salish berry basket with imbricated geometric patterns and seldom-seen looped decoration. Fern leaves were often used as lids for these baskets, threaded through and held in place by the decorative loops. Very good condition aside from some minor berry stains to the interior.
