A solid .830 purity silver presentation trophy from the infancy of automobile and motorcycle racing. This Danish trophy was presented by the Danish newspaper Politiken, on behalf of the Danish Motor Klub, for the 1924 long-distance racing tour through Denmark and Germany. Hallmarked with assayer Christian F. Heise of Copenhagen. This trophy is from the estate of Danish automobile and motorcycle racer Primgaard Nielsen. Weighs 11.6 troy ounces.
