A very large 19th century iron arrow weathervane from the Ottawa Valley. The primitive nature and oversized scale suggest this was likely off a substantial barn. It measures 51" in length and has been mounted on a modern stand utilizing a 19th century gable finial. This piece has a strong presence and the bullet holes and pitting only add to its visual appeal.
