SOLD

A small, rare late 19th or early 20th century jolly roger boat pennant in as found relic condition. Stitched skull and crossbones on a tattered and faded black cotton ground with original header hand-stitched to an oak staff with brass sleeves to accommodate a flagstaff. The flag is double-sized and a truly rare find in any condition -- either late 1800's or from the early days of the rum running era. Found here in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Currently pinned within a shadow box for wall display. See addition photos.
