These are large sandstone architectural fragments from a historic St. John, New Brunswick building, circa 1880. Unfortunately we do not know the exact building, as these were found in the contents of an old St. John property's carriage house. Many of the large historic sandstone buildings within St. John were crafted from locally-sourced sandstone, and interestingly, quite a few of these buildings were erected during the rebuild following the Great Fire of St. John in 1877. The smaller fragment is $150 and the larger piece is $275. These are heavy and make for great garden or flower bed decor. See my shoes in the photo to get an idea of the scale.
