Without a doubt the most unusual photograph we've found in a Halifax estate. This tintype image shows a man seated next to who is presumed to be his daughter. The father has an Indigenous appearance, and they are both wearing mourning clothes, as the daughter stands while clutching a bouquet of flowers in one hand. In front of them is a taxidermy 2-headed calf. The photo measures approximately 2" x 2.25" is in a Union case of the late 19th century. Found in a north end Halifax home.

Dimensions: 2"x2.5"
