We recently uncovered a few original WWI British propaganda posters that had been rolled up in the back of a closet for many years. The posters were in a poor state, but with the aid of Ruth Legge Conservation Services, we were able to salvage them. This poster has received museum-quality conservation, with all Scotch tape removed, and then the poster was cleaned, and then applied to a Japanese paper with methyl cellulose paste, which is a completely reversible process. As you can see, there is some residual staining from the tape, but the poster displays well. This large size poster measures 25" x 38" and retains its full margins. The display frame is included.
