A charming small inlaid picture frame believed to have been made by Gilbert Nickerson, also known as "The Old Chairmaker," a Shelburne County, Nova Scotia man famous for his carved leaves and unique hand-made chairs fashioned from washed up ship wreckwood. This circa 1920 frame was found on Cape Sable Island.
