Exceptional cased 7-day razor set. Includes seven razors, each individually labeled with a day of the week, featuring steel blades by J. Nowill & Sons of Sheffield, and with ivory scales. Seated within a fine quality campaign style brass-bound mahogany case. Brass nameplate engraved "G.E. Aird, Ottawa City." Razor blades are in excellent condition. A few stable splits at some of the scale pins. Condition is about as good as you will find for a mid-19th century shaving set, especially considering only the wealthy possessed more than a single straight razor at any given time.
